CD ReviewsGood show but from a B sounding audience tape Dark Star-The Other One | The Bus To Never Ever Land | 10/17/2010 (3 out of 5 stars) "Friday, October 13th, 1972 finds a new lineup appearing at the Zoom Club in Frankfurt, Germany. This would be the Larks Tongues In Aspic lineup of: Robert Fripp, Bill Bruford, John Wetton, David Cross and Jamie Muir. The show itself is captured on an audience tape and the vocals are distant although the instruments are there for the most part. The band opens up with a cool early Larks Tongues In Aspic Part 1. Book Of Saturday is next and it's always a pleasure to hear but the vocal is buried. Zoom is a long jam with some of it being more successful than other parts of it. Improv: Zoom, Zoom is an even longer jam and suffers the same problem. Easy Money is good and slightly different sounding from later versions and gives way to an instrumental version of the hook that would turn up in Fallen Angel. Improv: Z'Zoom is more sucessful as it doesn't go on quite as long and gives way to a nice early version of Exiles with slightly different lyrics. The Talking Drums is cool and gives way to a powerhouse Larks, Tongues In Aspic Part 2. The band hadn't really played together in front of an audience before this so the sound of the band isn't quite as developed as they would become. The performance is pretty good but, as I said earlier, this is from a so so audience tape."
