"I was never even aware of this title,until here recently.'Since We've...' is an archive live recording of the band at an undisclosed location,I'll guess sometime in 1965.Twelve tracks with a total running time of 35 minutes.The sound quality is,actually pretty good.The five original members,which are Jack Ely-vocals,Mike Mitchell-lead guitar,Bob Nordy-bass,Don Galucci-piano and Lyn Easton-drums serve up a decent set of frat/garage rock tunes the Kingsmen had performed,apparently early in their career.The best cuts are "Gimme Some Lovin'","Get Out Of My Life Woman","Little Latin Lupe Lu" and "Born In Chicago".What,no "Louie Louie","Killer Joe" or even "Haunted Castle"?That's okay.Worth having anyway."

"This is a previously unreleased live album by the Kingsmen from 1967. At this point, lead singer Lynn Easton had left the group, but the liner notes give no clue as to who is singing lead here. Most of the songs here were recorded in Tacoma in the summer of 1967, but the last three tracks were recorded at some other unnamed location. You can tell the difference, because there is almost no crowd reaction on the first nine songs, and then you get to the last three songs and you can hear a bunch of screaming fans. Also, the sound mix is not as good on the last three songs, with the singer being barely audible. Overall, this is a pretty fun album. It's a muddy, distorted, sloppy, energetic live performance from one of the standout "garage bands" of the '60s. If you are into the "garage" sound of the 1960s, you should enjoy this album."
