"Don't get me wrong from the title; this CD is fantastic! (It certainly beats the heck out of the U.S. version of the soundtrack, which features a mere fraction of the music that this one does.) The only problem I had with it was that I already own it! I misconstrued from the online listing that this was a totally different CD, not the original soundtrack. I mean, there's no picture, no description, and at the time I ordered it, there weren't any reviews either--so I took a chance and ended up with something I already own. Thus, I want to be sure I make it clear exactly what this is so that future shoppers will know before they buy. This is the Japanese Ocarina of Time original soundtrack. Here's my content review:* Over 50 tracks! This CD even includes the temples!!
* Due to the number of tracks, each tune is played only once, rather than looped like the U.S. version. This is kind of a shame.
* The chanting was removed from the Fire Temple. Another shame. (This caused it to lose a star.)
* No other complaints here! Like I said, this CD is fantastic! It even comes with a sticker and cool pictures you can substitute in the jewel case cover."
Great!

"This one is really great, songs ranging from 5 seconds to 7 minutes (some I would more likely call sound effects). I would strongly suggest this to any Zelda fan, or Zelda music fan, or even any music fan at all! Here are some brief descriptions for you to see what some of the songs are like:
Title Theme: The song at the beginning of the game, slow but very peacefull.
Boss Battle: Wow, this one has you feeling the power of the boss you are facing, or has you feel like you are facing one! :)
Zelda's Theme: I like this one quite a bit, also slow and peacefull.
Goron City: This one is pretty good until a yelping noise joins in the song...
Lost Woods: Fast and entergettic (sorry if I spelled that wrong), I never grow tired of this one.
Temple of Time: I can't hear any insterments in this one, only eccoy voices. Has you feel like you are in an oversized cathedral.
Windmill Hut: I call this song the Song of Storms, but you can find it in the Windmill hut. Pretty much feels like a rain storm!
Nocturne of Shadow: Ok, I like this one alot, I mean a whole LOT!
Gives you a creepy feeling, gotta love that! :)
Last Battle: This one really fits perfectly as, the title says, the Last Battle. Feels powerful.
End Credits: This is by far the longest track on the cd, running a little past 7 minutes. Great for credits, hey its great for anything! But it does seem like they stringed together some of the other song to make it... No big deal, still great.
I hope this has helped you in your journey in buying this cd! I also give great thanks to Koji Kondo for making all this great music for the Zelda games. Bravo."
Good, but short

"I loved that they have EVERY SINGLE music from the game in it, but I was disappointed to find how short some of the tracks are. Most all of them only play one loop of a track, making the songs very short. For example, the Fire Temple track is just over 40 seconds long... I just wish they made this like 3 CDs and extended the tracks to at least 2 minutes each.
But that's the only thing I don't like... other than that its great! If you liked the OoT music, this is a must buy!"
Best Soundtrack Ever

"Those who have beaten the Ocarina Of Time videogame surely know it's an absolutely unforgettable game. It's not only a game, but an experience... The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time is what I call an eternal game. Why? Graphics were unbelievable, for when it was released. The characters, scenaries and story left you breathless... But something who made the game be what is... It's one thing: it's soundtrack.
Ocarina Of Time's soundtrack is here, ladies and gentleman. Unlike the American version, this Japanese version has all tracks (and even some sound effects like when you get an item) who play in the game, so what you'll find in here is 82 tracks of pure quality.
I know the tracks have an average time of one minute each, but, believe me... this means nothing. When you play the songs, you feel like you're playing the whole game again, it's wonderful.
This soundtrack must be owned by any gamer and by any music fan out there, because it's simply the best soundtrack ever. Not only the best game soundtrack ever, but, I mean it, the best soundtrack ever made for anything.
Wonderful melodies who immediately transport you (if you played the game, obviosly) to the places of where that song played... I can't describe it by words, how amazing this soundtrack is and how a must-buy it is.
Do yourself a favor and do it like myself: buy this soundtrack right now here at Amazon. You'll never, ever feel bad about this."
Phenomenal

"I've always been impressed with Koji Kondo's compositions for the Zelda and Mario series, and this is no exception -- most styles of music are represented here, and all of them have fantastic melodies. The instrumentals (all simulated, of course) are just right. Purchase this immediately if you're a fan of the video game, or just good music."
