"Kool&the Gang was so thick with the Funk at one time that even the Godfather of Soul James Brown was taken notes on them.now they had some aight Glossy jams in the 80's that I dug.I don't rip anybody from paying Bills especially in the Industry. the James "JT" Taylor had it's purpose. but the 69-76 Era Kool&the Gang was just Rumbling in the Funk all the time. Grooves that still move Dancefloors. this Collection will have you doing the Bump all Night.strong arrangements&alot of Flavor on the Rhythm.you feel the Funk."

"This is the Kool & the Gang I grew up listening to. Before they became a ballad singing mega group this is what they sounded like. Their Kool jazz and funk sides in the early 70s were the soundtrack of my youth. Highly recommended if you want a taste of the band before they went commercial."
