"At last, Koopman's re-release of the 3-Disc Set Complete Cantatas Vol. 8 is available on Amazon.com. But, where is the description of what's on it? I will provide that below.



Firstly, I must include this series of re-releases on Koopman's own label, Antoine Marchand (though more costly than when on Erato in the 90s), contains the very well interpreted music of Bach as well as valuable scholarly research of Bach's Cantatas by Professor Christoph Wolff, a leading Bach scholar. Stephen Keavy leads the trumpet section performing the tasking parts in BWV 77 and 90 on this set.
