This 14 disc set from MPS Jazz is a rare opportunity to enjoy all of Regers organ works in one place. Kurt Rapf, the talented organist to whom we owe this collection, spent fourteen years, from 1970 to 1984, recording these works on Europes finest organs. Kurt Rapf (1922-2007) was an outstanding Austrian musician. Not only an incredible organist, he also composed over 150 works which received international acclaim. He is heard on numerous recordings, particularly by MPS. This is the first time that these particular recordings have been available on CD.
