"With this recording, the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet illustrates its ability to communicate energy and dazzling technical facility in vastly different ways, as in Stravinsky's spirited Circus Polka and Ian Krouse's flamenco enspired Bulerias. Unfortunately, this disc lacks the resonant quality of most of the ensemble's other recordings, but it is certainly a worthwhile purchase."
