"For a person who listens to mostly classic rock and especially not an electronica music fan, this album pleased me immensely. I've always avoided electronica music (as a matter of fact, even disliked it), but when a friend played this CD at his house, I was very intrigued. I borrowed it from him and was greatly surprised by how much I liked it.The album's songs are all laced together. There is no sudden break or end to any of the songs...they merely flow into each other throughout the entire CD. This album basically takes you on a musical journey with driving moments and encounters of tranquility. It starts off with "Wrong time...wrong place" where the song starts slowly, but eventually takes off with a steady build to amazing percussion and drumbeats. It even has an Oriental chime that flows throughout the song. Next, comes "Lonely Casseopaya", a song consisting of driving beats and cool synthesizer effects. With a seemingly robotic voice, "My time is yours" kicks off and immediately makes you want to tap your feet or dance. An excellent song to cruise on the highway with, this is probably one of my favorites. Other great sounds and beats are found in "Can you see the yellow turtles", "Miss Understanding", "Sweet gravity", "Sweet g (#2)", and "Fontana". I did find "Fontana" to be an excellent, fast paced song, but it tired me out because the track was so long...8 minutes, 17 seconds to be exact. I think the song would've been better if it had been shortened a minute or two. My other two favorite musical works here are "Everything is..." and "Enter - Paradise". These songs are also great driving or cruising masterpieces. "Everything is..." just builds right after "Lunar orbit" and comprises of awesome beats and fantastic synth work. Right after that, however, comes "Enter - Paradise". This song has incredible energy to it combining creative synth tunes with hard pounding rhythms.The CD does have its quieter and more relaxing moments with "The hidden sun of Venus", "Lunar orbit", and "Reprise". "Lunar orbit" is actually very descriptive of the song. The music almost makes you feel as if you're actually floating around the moon! "Reprise" ends the CD with a surreal peacefulness, to make you feel and understand that the journey has ended.This CD was so good, I'm actually going to buy it from our good friends here at Amazon. That's progress when a statement like that is made from a mostly classic rock fan! For any of you out there who's main interest is electronica music, buy this album as expediently as possible. You will not be disappointed to be a part of a work that exhibits imaginative songwriting and intricate beats."
