"This ep was originally slated to be a full length release. Due to internal upheavals that resulted in departing members and technical misgivings concerning certain tracks, we ended up with these five. The other tracks from these sessions might eventually see the light of day in one way or another, though. We know that this ep's decidedly power pop leanings are a departure from our previous release -the more tropical sounding Adios, Ruperto- but we feel that underneath the surface there was always a hint of our music eventually going in this direction. Hope you enjoy it. -HMPS: As for the 3 stars above, for me to rate our own album is rather tacky, to say the least. But because of the way this review area is set up I couldn't submit this comment without doing so."
