Shallow Life Just Got Better

"I recently reviewed the tour edition of The Formation Of Damnation from Testament, and I was really adamant in saying that if you already own that album, then don't buy the tour edition. Here, I'm saying even if you already own Lacuna Coil's Shallow Life, you can still buy the expanded edition. What you get is new artwork and a cd with 12 rare and unreleased bonus tracks: three b-sides, three acoustic tracks (if you like acoustic), and six live tracks. When the album was released in '09, it got a lot of mixed response because it's a more straight-forward heavy rock album compared to Comalies and Karmacode. I honestly think that it stands next to those two as one of the band's best. The music's still heavy, catchy, and melodic. Overall, it still sounds like Lacuna Coil."
