Amazon.comLakeside's concept-album ploys often went not much further than their album covers, which depicted them in various movie-inspired guises. On the sleeve of Untouchables, they're Chicago-style gangsters, and they actually spin two or three tunes that tie in to the idea: "Raid" the dance floor, they order, but keep your "Alibi" straight and remember that you're "Untouchable." Fewer ballads and a couple of more dance tracks would more satisfyingly unbalance the album, but this 1982 disc nonetheless brings a thoroughly innocent, entertaining era back to life in your speakers. --Rickey Wright
