"Welcome to one of the great overlooked bands of modern progressive rock. Terra Serranum is a wonderful mixture of Pink Floyd, Yes and Early Genesis tendencies. Unlike most of their peers however, the band chooses to acknowledge, rather than simply drown, in their influences. The highlights of the disc are the title track and, "A Castle, Mother Nanny..." The song titles might sound a little bizarre, but they don't get in the way of the oceanic soundscapes of the music itself. The only thing against the album in the standard of the mixing - it sounds a little rushed, but it doesn't ruin the album. If you do like this album, also try and track down "Pacific Coast Highway" and "Natural Selection." All three are excellent releases."
