A Very Good Compilation

"I'm afraid our friend from Chile got on the wrong page, because this CD has nothing to do with Coryell's 1970s group "The Eleventh House." Rather, this is a compilation of tunes drawn from several retro-bop albums that Larry recorded during the 1980s: "Equipoise," "Toku Do,", and "Shining Hour." All very nice tunes, but if you already own the source albums you will have overlapping material. If you don't own any of these, then by all means buy this CD, because it features some of the best tracks from each and will whet your appetite for more Larry Coryell. Believe me, that's a good thing, because Larry is probably one of the top three jazz guitarists alive today."
