Album Description
"ambient red washes" is the latest CD by pioneer electrocomputer composer Larry Kucharz. The CD is the sequel to the successful "ambient blue washes". The seven red washes were written in 2003. Added to these are four older works from 1993 which are combined on the CD to form a fluid tonal unity. These works use more XF than the blue washes and the red washes extend the tonal palette of Larry?s own unique harmonic system. Like most of Larry?s works, the 11 tracks of "ambient red washes" are mysterious sonic sculptures, each sounded with a multi layered monochromatic electronic sound texture.
