Not quite as good as her first album, but still great

"This is the other album of original material in Italian, from which some songs were pulled to be rerecorded in Spanish for her first Latin American album. I'm sure whomever owns her first Spanish language album will recognize and adore the first five songs on this album. For me, Lui Non Sta Per Te is even better than El No Esta Por Ti, its Spanish counterpart. On the other hand, I like the Spanish version of Ragazze Che (Las Chicas) more than the Italian one. But these are minor points- these songs are great in both languages.Again, there are some songs here that didn't make the cut when songs were chosen to be rerecorded in Spanish. Of the four, two are great, and the other two are horrible. Un Amico E Cosi is similar in style to Lui Non Sta..., and Amori Strani. I love the lyrics- it is a song about the beauty of a great friendship. The only thing that I sort of dislike is how she tries to be overly emotional in one stanza towards the end. The other great song, Amori Infiniti, gets better with repeated listening. At first, the background sounds a bit too cloying, but I love how the song builts to an emotional end. In this case, the emotional delivery isn't stilted, as is the case with Un Amico E Cosi.Like another reviewer said, you can't escape some boring songs here. I can't really understand how it is that the two "bad" songs made it on the album to make ten songs, when on her first album there are only eight songs, which was fine. Both Cani E Gatti and Anni Miei sound very dated and childish. I can't stand the "uh, uh" in the beginning of the Cani E Gatti, and Anni Miei sounds like she recorded it in fifth grade. I know this is being harsh, but when you hear what Laura Pausini is capable of singing, you can't justify the inclusion of such substandard material. The last song is the original Italian version of Carta, which I've always been fond of, though it's not among the best that she recorded during this time.Dire de nuevo que vale la pena comprar este disco, junto con su primer disco italiano. Sin duda las mejores canciones suyas son de este etapa, y las versiones italianas merecen que las escuches. Ademas, tendras las canciones que no decidieron grabar en espanol, talvez porque son demasiado para un solo disco."

"It's the only album of Laura that you can not avoid the boring songs. Well, borings songs appear in any album of any artist, but not of Laura. But, it worth to buy it only for the first songs, and for the song "Amore Infiniti", that appears only in this album. The Spanish version of this album is also pretty much good, and has only beautiful songs - the bests from the version of this album in Italian, and from another one in Italian. I don't like the style of music that she sings in the lasts songs. It's not her style. But, anyway, Laura is Laura! I do not regret to buy this album and still listen to this with all my heart. I know the songs by heart. I loved this album."
