"One of the more sonically aggressive and conceptually abstract hip hop albums ever released, completely unappreciated by the mainstream hip hop community of its era. The Source magazine review gave it some embarrassingly low rating. Although this is an intelligent rapper's album, some said TIME was too hardcore for the people, and this in a day when street cred was already being measured primarily in terms of number of threats of violence issued rather than musical talent. This misunderstanding might be due to the fact that the beats and vocals are so SLAMMING they don't sound dated as of late 2004. Certainly it is not dance-floor-friendly to the college bar set, but it will consistently motiv8 those who love intensity. I am still feenin 4 this album ten years l8r. Busta Rhymes was already innovating beyond consumer comprehension on the LONS album which preceded this one. If musical innovation excites you, get this album. If you like this material you need to check Divine Styler's rare "Spiral Walls..." and Dizzie Rascal's releases. Sleep is the cousin of death, so just don't do it.

"This is the LP from LONS that I was really feelin'. The Production was great and they stepped up their lyrical material a lot! "Classic Material""

"This LP is tight..its on a differant tip to their debut set..this time around they touch upon much more complex issues and it ain't easy to understand the lyrics 1st time round cos they got cryptic meanings to em..definately ahead of its time and a classic in its own right..the beats are banging as well so definately check it out."
