"I had the privelige of watching L5 sing nearly every song on this CD live in a concert. I can say one thing, they mean every single word they sing. It's not simply stage-acting for them, they really mean it and that blessed me.

Glenn Dustin rattled the walls on Somebody Sing and man, did that ever sound awesome!

Heroes of the Faith is an outstanding tribute to the life of Glenn Payne, lead singer for the Cathedrals.

Freedom packs a punch with a great message attached. Scott Fowler really goes for it in a big way and you sit there and go "Wow!"

The grand finale at the concert was Carved in Stone and it was simply incredible. It brought an immediate standing ovation that lasted for a long time.

Walk with Me is a new "country debut" for Scott Howard, and he does a great job.

Tony Jarman hits the top of the scale on He's Been There and it's powerful.

All in all, this CD is wonderful and it deserves about 10 stars!



P.S. There is a matching DVD that L5 recorded live, and if you thought the CD was good, the DVD is even better. It has a few things that the CD doesn't, and when it's live it's even better anyway! I strongly recommend this also."

"I've written only one review previously because few things inspire me enough to pen a review. However, Legacy Five is the exception. This Southern Gospel group has incredible harmony. Their singing is truly inspired. The songs they choose for each CD speak volumes to listeners. You can't listen to the words penned by the songwriter's of: Holy Is Thy Name, He Forgets, Storms I Never See, Committed To The Cause of Christ, While I'm Waiting, Carved In Stone, He's Been There, Step Into The Water, Champion of Love, A Vessel of Mercy, What Grace Is For, I Stand Redeemed & many others ... without being profoundly moved ... without feeling that some of those words were penned just for you. The orchestration & song arrangements are also exceptional. I also highly recommend these Legacy Five CD's:"Songs We Used To Sing," "London" & "Strong In The Strength.""

"Awesome Album! Roger Bennet has written a timeless classic in "Heroes of the Faith." I'll always think of George Younce and Glen Payne whenever I hear this song."
