"I am so happy to see these superb performances are finally reissued! I have some of the selections on original 78s and sound was quite good for their age, but the remastering here is excellent. And what a sound Lehar coaxed out from the Swiss orchestra! So creamy and juicy, just like the Vienna Philharmonic at their best. The performance here is like the personification of the old Vienna that was already a thing of past back then. The composer's loving and nostalgic performances are absolute must for people who loves Lehar's music. Enjoy these intoxicating performances from the bygone era!"
