"Charlotte Gainsbourg may be known more in the states as an actress than a singer, but this recording finds her with tongue planted firmly in cheek. She whsipers her way through a number of father Serge Gainsbourg's compositions. The "Lolita-Like" delivery is a tad risque, so I wouldn't recommend playing this for the kids (even though much of it is sung in French). For adult Gainsbourg fans though, I'd recommend it for its unique oddball character."
