"This is one the greatest collections of Lenny Dee that I have heard. His original style with just an organ and percussionist has long been considered Lenny's best recordings. Here is a master artist of the organ on perfectly engineered CDs. Only the last chord of "Fan Tango" was cut off to my dismay. Otherwise, Lenny's foot tapping style and sensitive playing on the smooth numbers have been excellently displayed."

"I listened to Lenny Dee as I was growing up in the 1950s - very popular records around our house - and later I found copies of many of his LPs in used record stores, flea-markets, and garage sales. This 2 CD collection has many of the best Lenny Dee performances and seems to be the only reissue of his work available. Too bad there is no USA release version! (Take the hint, Rhino Records ;-)



The arrangements are clever, "Pop" and musical without being too far into "Space-Age Bachelor Pad" kitsch territory."
