"Lenny Kravitz is amazingly talented but unfortunately, his track record is spotty and his albums often hit or miss. Though this was lauded by critics, there's a reason it didn't go anywhere commercially. With often ridiculously amateurish lyrics and paper-thin songs that lack melody and structure, this often sounds more like a geeky teenager's demo than a polished rock star of his stature. With the exception of one or two songs, the tracks simply don't make a strong impression, unless you're a fan of christian rock or want to relive your Led Zeppelin days. Stick to his "Best of", a true winner."
