"I am a fan of Chicago Bob's and while looking for his excellent release, "Back to Bogalusa" I stumbled upon this disc and it was an exceptional find. This is top-notched blues. Smith's guitar work recalls the work of Steve Ray Vaughan and Chicago Bob's harp and vocals offers up a southern roots sound, the combination of which is very dynamic. The CD also features a tight rythym section comprised of Brad Russell on bass, Jimmy Pugh on keyboards and Mike Vanderhule on drums. Last but not least, the CD is produced by Kevin Russell, a hard rocking blues man in his own right. Listening to this, you will find yourself wondering why there are only six songs on the disc and that is my only complaint. One final note, there is another Lenny Smith whose CD's are available at Amazon, that Smith produces Christian music and should not be confused with this bluesman. For now, you can tell whose who by looking for Chicago Bob. However, on future releases, knowing which Smith is the right Smith for you may not be so easy. Perhaps this Smith should be called "Motor City" Smith for ease of identification. Enjoy it!"
