"I have to say again tah is on eof the best records I.ve listened in my life. If I was a music, I'd like that words; and if I was a poet I'd like this music for my work."

"The French love and desire for history and details are exemplified in this CD. L'Affiche Rouge (The Red Billboard) describes the death of the 23 people that actually started the French Resistance. They just happened to be Armenian Communists, another little known fact. These Armenians, who are now considered to be French brothers, assimilated into French culture, despite their difficult names. In the poem is included the letter by the French Resistance leader, Manuchian, to his wife, telling her to be happy to be alive, and to marry and have children. A gut wrenching poem sung with passion, Ferre is certainly a great one to listen to, not only to live the words, but to live French culture. Worthy of note that in France, there are many streets named "Les Vingt et Trois" (The 23), in honor of these individuals who had the will and courage to stand up against Tyranny, saving countless times 23 people after them."
