"with humour and darkness, this is the still be continued LEON REDBONE's good old early 20's century music world.
need not mension,he's the best conductor of this magical journey of time machine with his one and only deep voice."
The reclusive one triumphs again!

"I've been a Leon Redbone fan for quite a while and own almost his entire catalog.
I put "Anytime" on peer with "Sugar." The selections Leon performs are quite listenable. As with other offerings, Mr. Redbone surrounds himself with very accomplished musicians and the results are unequivocally terrific.
I'd highly recommend "Anytime" - anytime."
Easy Listening--Foot tapping Music

"We've been Leon Redbone fans ever since hearing him (many years ago) when he was the opening act to a Tom Waits' concert---now there's a dichotomy. In fact, that's a good comparison; if you're familiar with Tom Waits' style, just think opposite. For you novices, Leon Rebone (with his rich baritone voice) sings the old standards with guitar, banjo, tuba, and sometimes he even whistles. A sampling from "Any Time" include: "Any Time", "Moonlight Bay", "All I Do Is Dream of You", "Ain't Gonna Give You None of My Jelly Roll", etc. If you're a L.R. fan, "Any Time" is typical Redbone--nuff said. For the rest of you, this is "easy listening"---sometimes even "foot tapping" music."
