State of the art digital remastering!

"Varese-Sarabande is one of the labels THAT CARE ABOUT THE PRODUCTS THEY RELEASE!! I have owned all of the Brown cuts since they became available from Coral Records between '51 & '57 on 78's and 45's & eventually on LP comps. Aside from the fact that these are mono cuts; you would swear they were recorded 4 years ago, not 40+! It is obvious that the record companies were able to record more than they could transfer to 78's or 45's. You can hear every musical nuance that was recorded! My favorite cut is MILKMAN'S MATINEE recorded in 1954 with the MODERNAIRES, and featuring DON FAGERQUIST ON TRUMPET. If you lived in the N.Y. tri-state area in the fifties you heard this cut every night on WNEW radio!"
