"Well first off I'd like to say this has been one hard CD to obtain. I have wanted to purchase it for a long time. Only recently did it become available for a brief time and sold out almost immediately. I guess its been out of print for years.



Now for the music. I've listened to the samples on and off for a long time while browsing for other items here on Amazon. I've been a fan of this kind of classical guitar music many years. If You are a fan of Andres Segovia then this would be a nice addition to your music collection. I read somewhere that Segovia had said pertaining to Ida Presti quote "There is nothing I can teach her." High praise coming from him I must say!



The music was recorded in the 1930's and 40's. So it does not sound as clean as you might like. But no matter, these Ladies were true guitar masters. You can still hear that. I just got this CD and I've been listening to it over and over. I love it. Where as the surface noise might be off putting to some due to the age of these recordings its still a fine piece of guitar history that should not be forgotten."
