"Grandes Eaux Musicales de Versailles~ Concert Des Nations is an amazing recording of music from the time of Louis XIII and Louis XIV. Being a huge fan of Bach, Vivaldi and composers of the time this was an obvious choice for me to listen to. I love the structure, the order and one never has to wonder if one listens to an adagio, andante or allgretto and this in itself is a nice change from modern classical music which is way to avantgarde for my taste. The book-let is a stunning work of art and they wisely picked art from the time of when this amazing music was composed. The font inside the book-let is clear and easy on the eye, the piece written by De Lioncourt is interesting and well written. This recording is highly recommended and I dare say this is some of the best classical music that I have heard in quite some time."
Excellent Disc but Duplicate of other Releases

"I love Savall's work but potential buyers should be warned that this is largely a duplicate of another release "The Orchestra of Louis XIII". There are also a few other tracks from other sources. While I absolutely love the original release, I was more than a little annoyed that I basically paid all over for something I already had."
