Leslie Clemmons' debut album, "Stop The World" on Verdict CD's and cassettes, consists of 10 well crafted songs. Track #1, "Duplicity," is a rhythmically intense hip-hop/rock groove with powerful guitar driven emotion. Track #2, "Misery Loves Company," finds the artist relating to the normal human desire for comfort and escape. "Lie In Your Arms," Track #3, has an infectious strong funk/rock rhythm with fast-paced and fun lyrics. "Stop The World," the album's title track, is rich with emotion and reflection. The album's second single, "The Blind Lead The Blind," has a catchy complex rhythm consisting of a straight ahead rock chorus and hip-hop groove verses, with lyrics of strong female intent.
