Getting Back to the old Lexi
Melody Laster | Akron, OH | 09/07/2007

"Hi--I've been a fan of Lexi since she came out around 1990. I loved that first offering b/c the songs (largely written by Michael Brooks) really highlighted the light and airy voice that Lexi has. I do really like the CD before this one too, however, when I heard "Trust in You Only" on the radio for the first time, I knew it was her before they announced it. This CD is a better use of her voice. BUT- I still love the one before that b/c it was mostly praise and worship which is awesome b/c that's what we are made to do... if you just became a Lexi fan and want to hear a Lexi that's a little different than what you know, this is a good CD."
GREAT CD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"I WASN'T ALWAYS A FAN OF LEXI. BUT WHEN I HEARD A FEW TRACKS FROM THIS ALBUM I DECIDED TO BUY IT. AND NOW I CAN'T STOP LISTENING TO IT. I LOVE IT, THE WORSHIP IS SO PURE."
No love from radio

"This woman's music ministry is off-the-charts phenomenal and hot!! Her lyrical content and music production are superb, very polished. This CD and her last one, A Praise in the Valley, has just the right mix of contemporary, R&P, jazz, CCM, and worship -- Not everyone can pull that off. The only way I heard about Lexi was through a friend who is good at finding and buying "underground" gospel music. But Lexi's shouldn't be underground. It's a total shame she doesn't get more love from radio, but I hope she keeps on doing her thing. Besides, I'm sure she knows she's really only performing for an audience of One, and that's Christ Our Savior..."
