"I grew up in the Midwest for the most part, but also lived in Orlando, FL for a few years and as a result of the combination of the two, I learned to love a good T-Storm. About 8 years ago, I was living up in the Pacific Northwest for a couple years and despite all the rain that place gets, there just didn't seem to be much thunder/lightning. I was specifically looking for a good thunderstorm CD because I really missed the sound.



I found this CD at one of those push-button CD stands where you get to hear a bunch of different samples of music by pushing on one of the little CD cover pictures. It was the best $10 I'd spend in a very long time. WELL worth it. NO music, NO cheesy sound effects. Just good ol' natural Thunderstorm and rain.



I was listening to this CD when I met my wife and now we listen to it just about every night...put the surround system on repeat, 2 hour sleep mode...



...the only thing I'd say is kinda weird is that about 42 minutes in, there's a HUGE clap of thunder out of nowhere that wakes me up sometimes, but I immediately go back to sleep."
