Synopsis

In a world where everything Lil' is seemingly making big moves, Yonkers-born, Atlanta-raised rapper Lil' Zane is attempting to follow suit with his debut, Young World: The Future. With the impassioned delivery of a young Tupac, Lil' Zane spits youthful poetics on the energetic yet lyrically dark "Ways of the World." Similarly, the upbeat "Callin' Me" rides a Latin-flavored instrumental, while Zane eagerly releases his choppy vocals. However, it's with his unconvincing, ultra-hardcore lyrics on tracks like "Die Famous," (where he lyrically knocks off his mother's boss for mistreating her) that the rapper falls short. Ultimately, too many lackluster cuts, like "Ride on 'Em" and "Top Down," with their sporadic production and often overdone rah-rah lyrics, leave a listener pondering what Zane's Young World is coming to. --Elon D. "Here we have a little pretty boy herb tryin to bite the late tupacs style on here that single callin me with that weak happy beat i wish would vanish off the radio stations it is horrible and why does he menchain thugs on his song he is not a thug and he will never be pac because he doesnt have it in him so some advice like I heard the Rza said this kid is confused and he needs some direction and doesnt need to be bitin off pacs whole style I guess we just have to deal with another imitation until he fades out like No Limit eventually did but anyway dont support this Man until he finds an identity peace, You bit the man who bit a man who bit ten men who bit the same style you bit get off of pac and let him rest in peace theres only one. Somebody tell this little clown to let it rest hes wack."

"I had not heard much of lil zane before I got this album and I live in the Uk so he was not pushed too much here.
Anyway this album is one of the best albums I have heard and for a debut album GOD DAMN!! This guy can rap and the hooks to the song r just amazing. Most of the hooks on this album are catchy. What i like most about Lil zane tho is the way he incorporates rap with the rnb. Callin me is a great example of this with 112's smooth hook wiv Lil zane's mad lyrics its just mad.
I tend to agree lil zane does sound a bit like pac on some songs but that aint a bad thing. If you gonna buy this album or perhaps download songs then watch these songs:-CALLIN ME - Hot rap and smooth rnb hook from 112, probably the best song on the albumYOU MUST REALLY LOVE ME- This is my second favourite, its just amazing great hook again and amazing rap.WHAT MUST I DO- Faster rap from Lil zane here but another good rnb hook to it this is another banger!!DIE FAMOUS - This is more hardcore and its a banger again another phat tune.BEAUTIFUL FEELIN - This is another HOT HOT song. More laid back vibe to it but with another BANGIN rnb hook to it. Its a song tellin da story of his life.TOP DOWN - Hot song for the streetsNONE TONIGHT - Yet another bangin tune, another good rnb rap hook to it. So theres the best songs on the album. Might look like i listed alot there but they r all BANGERS!!
The rest are good songs i just listed the main ones tho.
If you like rap then get this cos lil zane is the future. He is HOTTTTT and his vibe is just something ive been waiting for a long time.GET THIS NOW!!"
