"This was their sophomore album released in '89. From the beginning to the end the songwriting is supurb. It is too bad it didn't get the recognition it deserved. I always thought they were more than just your average rock glam band and I still think that to this day. The problem I think was the label. It is the classic case where the label drops the ball and doesn't promote them like they should. Maybe they wouldn't have been as big as Bon Jovi or Def Leppard but they sure as heck were superior to a lot of the other bands of that era that people thought were so great. If you want great melodic hard rock songwriting you should pick this up. Give them the chance the record label never did."

"I just bought this cd and listened to it-superb!I've known about
lillian way back, had a couple of releases, but somehow pass this
back in the day.I'm glad I now have this!.the best ones are
"the world stopped turning"and "ghost of winter".But this disc
does truly rock like the song "show a little love"-really catchy

"First saw Show A Little Love on headbanger's ball back in the day. Bought this CD and the whole CD is great. From catchy, semi-corny tunes like My Number and She Likes It On Top, Catchy hook tunes like Down On You and Show A Little Love, and great melodic tunes like Ghost Of Winter. This CD has a little bit of everything to offer from the time period and its excellent. Hard as hell to find and expensive when you do...but worth it. If for nothing more than the Best Cover of the Hair Metal Era (The inside is even better!).
The Song list seems to be off here at Amazon. It is as follows:
1. All's Fair In Love And War
2. She Likes It On Top
3. Diana
4. Down On You
5. World Stopped Turning'
6. Ghost Of Winter
7. My Number
8. Show A Little Love
9. Fool's Paradise
10. Letters In The Rain
Enjoy this Children of the Hair Nation!"

"I'm an Axe fan from way back. I'm so glad that I could rebuild my collection after having my CD's stolen. And the fact that they have a newer album is even better. Their music is top tier after I put down the Poison and other hair band music I'm still listening to this because of it's classical influence and I love Axe...to boot they help me pay tribute to my grandmother Lillian and she was a battle axe."
