Not all the songs are good, but I'm thoroughly impressed.

"I'll be quite honest, all I knew was that the two Limblifter guys (Dahle brothers) were in Age of Electric, and I liked some stuff that they did. Normally, I really check out albums before I bought them, but this was more of a blind purchase.I didn't like all the songs on the album. It's not very often that I like all the songs, hasn't in years. However, I think this album does display a great deal of talent. It does take a lot to create a few different songs that are all impressive and don't sound exactly the same (mainstream artists: take notes).Vicious was a great way to start the album. I liked this one. Good walking tune. I can't tell what the lyrics mean though.Tinfoil was also kind of odd in terms of lyrics. However, I thought the guitars were great, the drumming was well done, and it had a great melody.Cordova was also a great song. I enjoyed this one probably the most on the album. Lyrics have a recognizable meaning. Good melody.Screwed It Up, the first single from the album, was a great song. I enjoyed it quite a bit. The brothers really know how to work together in this one.The rest I wasn't that impressed with, but I listened to them all, and I didn't feel the sudden urge to turn them off (like I did with some other albums I have).Overall, I really liked the album. Well worth my $.... Great effort, Limblifter, you've shown the more popular bands up with this one."
Another Good Album

"This was quite a prominent and well-known release from this Canadian band. Interesting rock-punk-alternative vibe with high-pitched vocal tones and simplistic but noteworthy lyrical selections. Highlights include "Vicious" "TinFoil" and the infamous "Screwed It Up" all complimenting this release to its full extent. "I Wonder If" and "Opinata" are worthy of proper acclaim as well. This would make a pretty decent addition to a music collection anywhere."

"Limblifter is a truly creative album. For those who are new to the band, I'll tell ya that Ryan and Kurt Dahle are also 1/2 of another band, The Age of Electric (my fave band!)"
