"I got this cd last week and have played it about a hundred times already!
Lionel Hampton, who started recording in the swing era, here-past the age of 62!-puts his vibes to work swinging early seventies Chicago soul hits by TYRONE DAVIS, Barbara Acklin and other Brunswick recording stars of the early seventies. It might have crashed into muzak flop but, no. It's quite beautiful, swinging cooly, strrutting soulfully, easy to listen to but always surprising. A joy. Get it if you can."
