"This cd was indeed ahead of it's time.. Produced by Giovanni salah ,Guru and Junior Valesquez..A few songs were written by Jill Jones and Nona Hundryx. On this cd she explores, spoken word, rock,hip-hop,R&b and jazzy vocals. The lyrica's are very sexual and poetic.

>The song "same ol thang" is a great song about individuality.

>"the great predtender"- about a player who's game isn't tight.

>"covers"- slow, sultry, sexual song, similar to Art of Noise

>"acid rain",Knockin down the walls of love", rock hip hop vibe.

...this a must if you like Madonnas (erotica), a nice companion piece.....this is not your lil'Lisa Lisa from the 80's, She's a Grown ass Woman.."

"Lisa Lisa's so far only solo CD. It was produced by Guru and features interesting names like Nona Hendryx. It really has quality and is very different from the Lisa Lisa & cult jam stuff. The single "Skip to my lu" and other tracks like "Knockin down the walls" are really catchy and well produced. Unfortunately the album didn't get much attention - that might be because radio couldn't deal with so much individualism. It was ahead of its time."
