Honky-tonk as it was meant to be sung

"Ray Campi's somewhat nasally voice is a bit of an acquired taste, but together, Rosie and Ray are one of all-time great mixed country duets. He's the perfect straight man in "I'm Gonna Wear the Pants,", and Rosie's take on Loretta's lilt is just a hoot. The love songs are sweet and honest in the best 50s and early 60s tradition. On top of this, they are backed by one of the tightest honky-tonk bands ever recorded."

"Listening to this album, I felt as if I'd stepped off the busy downtown street corner into a real honky tonk joint. All I was missin' was the smoke and the whiskey. The songs are all about heartache, but Rosie's voice is sweet. Her guitar-playin' is awesome. Ray Campi is the perfect accompaniment to Rosie's style. Buy this CD--it ought to be an American classic."
