Great sound quality. Piercing violin play

"Of all the Piazzolla album I have, this is possibly the best recorded one. The instruments literally jump at your face. Audiophiles might consider this album on the bright side, but it works really well for this live concert album. The players were all excellent, as usual. The violin, in particular, sends a shiver down your spine. Yo-Yo Ma once said that no one can listen to Piazzolla without weeping. There's no better example than this album.

Also, Piazzolla's little speech at the end of disc 1 is a nice touch, and brought me even closer to his music. All in all, if you're a Piazzolla fan, get this."
