"This is a truly enjoyable record of a concert that begins with a set by NRBQ, and then they are joined by John Sebastian for a great set primarily comprising much-loved songs from Sebastian's days in The Lovin' Spoonful. The whole crowd must have been singing along with these spirited renditions of the old hits. Naturally, the 'Q do a terrific job supplying the instrumental and vocal parts. This is not as raucous and unpredictable as other NRBQ concert recordings, but what it might lack in wacky excitement it makes up for in warmth."
