From his first album which features "Me and You and A Dog Named Boo" to his best selling album titled "Of A Simple Man" which yielded his biggest hit song to date "I'd Love You To Want Me". with other top 40 hits including "Don't Expect Me To Be Your Friend" and "A Simple Man", Many titles in this package such as "A Big Red Kite" "There Ain't No Way" and Running Deer" could have been hits. This CD is just the ticket for a long and stressful day. All Lobo's albums are worth the investment. Wounded Bird Records did an excellent job of reproducing these albums. Thank you!"

There's no simpler or more poetic way of describing the eternal struggle of love. 'I'd Love You to Want Me' would have been a hit for 'The Hollies', but they wouldn't cut Lobo a fair deal for ownership. BIG MISTAKE! Lobo made it into a smash hit for himself in 1972. My dad had the 12" of 'Of A Simple Man' when I was a kid. Love it today just as I did then. Only it's remastered on cd now. Sweet."
