The recordings, dating from 1973 to 1977, feature pianist Emil Gilels and violinist Henryk Szeryng and include Mozart's Symphonies No. 28 and No. 35 ("Haffner"), Beethoven's Symphony No. 7, Brahms's Symphony No. 2 and the tone-poem Death and Transfiguration by Richard Strauss.
