Excellent album worth buying in any form but an alternative

"This is definitely one of Lorne Greene's best albums (originally released in 1965 on RCA) and this CD does contain that album and additional bonus tracks. However, a huge majority of the bonus tracks come from his 1966 "Portrait of The West" album, in fact 8 of the 12 tracks from that album are on this CD in the original playing order (these 2 albums are on the 3rd disc of the Bonanza: Ponderosa Party Time boxed set on Bear Family in their entirety in the original playing order), and the rest of the bonus tracks are An Ol' Tin Cup (And A Battered Ol' Coffee Pot), Endless Prairie, Sand, and the #1 hit "Ringo" all from 1964's "Welcome To The Ponderosa") plus Five Card Stud, Cool Water, The Devil's Grin, and Gold, all from 1965's "Lorne Greene's American West." ("Welcome To The Ponderosa" and "Lorne Greene's American West" are combined on the 2nd disc of the boxed set in their entirety). If you can't afford the boxed set, this CD is a must have, otherwise, I would rather have you buy the boxed set than this CD."
