Tiomkin an inspiration!

"Dimitri Tiomkin showed a great deal of skill and I think anyone.....even today, will appreciate him more by listening to this sound track. I have to admit I hadn't really isolated much of his music when watching the film...as the score is so successfully wedded to the images... The only other film I saw this done successfully was "Alexander Nevsky".There are three tracks added which are directly from the film with the children singing "Lullaby and Goodnight" and a very funny "Here We Come Gathering Nuts in May"... by the way, the CD cover mispells "nuts" twice.... Anyone who loves "Lost Horizon" should own this CD!!!!"
