Wonderfully Classic Lou and Dynamic Philly Soul

"What a terrifc compilation!! I bought this compilation last year and I have been truly enjoying it. Lou was the man back in 1977 when these albums were released and he still is to this day. These two albums are very brilliant pieces of music from Lou and Philly International. The pairing of Lou together with Kenneth Gamble and Leon Huff is tight! All of Lou's hits from these albums are included but, you also get great album cuts like the smooth sounds of "Early Morning Love", "We Understand Each Other"and "Secret Tears". Along with the uptempo tunes on "One Life To Live", "That Would Do It For Me" and one of my personal favorites "Some Folks Never Learn". This is one of the tightest songs that Gamble and Huff have ever written. It will make you move no matter who you are. It is extremely hard to choose a favorite tune from such a fine collection of songs because, both albums are first rate. Thank You Mr. Rawls, Mr. Gamble and Mr. Huff for giving us such dynamic music."
