Sad songs about romance and funny songs about...

"...random things (like suicide, drinking, etc). Some of the sad songs are a little humorous and others are serious and moving. All are entertaining. I find this to be one of the LWIII albums I can listen to the most (I'm the sort of person who listends to a lot of music but has trouble listening to an album more than twice a week even if it's great and I just got it).Go on, give it a try."
It's good

"Whenever I come into my local record store, they are starting to know me as the guy who keeps special ording the Loudon albums. It started a few weeks ago when I was trying to remember a song that I used to play in college. Well I bought Unrequited thinking that it was on that, and WOW I had forgotten what a great album that was, then I bought Attempted, and WOW, I had forgotten what a great album that was. I just got this and if you are a Loudon fan--just get it, that's all--it's good, really really good."
Happy to find it on CD

"I didn't realize this was available on CD. I've had it on vinyl for about 20 years, (since before I got my first CD player.) I absolutely love this album! It's probably not for everyone, but what real art is? If you're already familiar with Loudon, but haven't heard this, you really have to get it. If you're not familiar with him, I recommend this one to anyone who appreciates funny, very personal, and extremely well-performed folk music. This is a real gem."
