"I've been a Louie Vega fan since 1989, and the one sure thing you can say about this man is that like a fine wine, he gets better with time.

When you buy a Louie Vega mix cd, you are not buying a random selection of tunes mixed together because they have the same tempo. No no no, you get a glimpse into the mind of a true musical genius. His latest offering is a 3 cd mixture of flavours from Latino to French to African beats. the 3rd cd is a handful of tunes from the 2 mixed cd's. He showcases a few of his label mates/projects on the cd's such as Marie Jolie, Anane, Luisito Quintero which are all perfectly placed, but my favorite track is on the 1st cd which is the more soulful of the two cd's by an artist called Misia who has an angelic voice, and although she sings it in her native Japanes language you will be dancing to it as though you understood every word. The Dance Ritual series is dear to Louie as it is one of his theme nights that he's been running for a while now. So if like me you haven't been to one of these events, you can pop in the cd, and take in the vibes. This cd is a MUST HAVE for any fan of sophisticated, soulful, house music. Buy it NOW you will not regret it."
