Ella and Louis..what else is there that's important in life?..okay, okay, there may be some other stuff, but put this album on and your are guaranteed a trip to music heaven. What a great pairing for an album. Ella Fitzgerald is just a beautiful joy to listen too, and Louie Armstrong will have you swooning with his unmistakable croonings and his musical genius. The yesteryear silky sounds and smooth stylings compiled on these two CDs of standards and favorites(most solos, a couple of duets) is a wonderful trip down memory lane, and a must have for fans.
The product info here that lists the tracks, shows only 10 songs, and some are not right, even at that.. There are actually a total of 34 wonderfully definitive love songs, and some very cool sounds to get lost in, 17 on each disc. So here is what you get:

These recordings sound great. Some of the older ones, have that old time recording sound, but it only adds to the already great charm of this album, and the quality doesn't come much better. The musicians are are all wonderful, and the album comes with a 20 page booklet with some great pix.
