"I've reached the point recently where I've already got pretty much everything I like in the Spanish-language pop genre, so I thought I'd check out some Italian pop since I've been a fan of Laura Pausini, Nek, and Eros for some time, having come to like their Italian music through their adventures in the Latin market.
Although the cover of this album is cheap and cheesy looking, the pop product Luca delivers is polished and quite varied. The songs cover a variety of styles - the title track is a high energy power track for boy racers ("300 km/hour: una macchina prestante per fuggire de la notte"...[a fast car to escape the night..."]). Destinazione Mare is a typical beach party song, Non Dire Ma is a countryish acoustic song. Basically, you can assign most songs on the album to a certain category, but the album has a varied sound, has excellent production, and Luca seems to adapt to diverse settings. Highly recommended for packaged mainstream pop music."
