"A wonderful compilation of songs by the unique voice and style of one of the best mexican female singers and the most influential of them all. It includes all the major hits from her brief but amazing career. Some of the tracks seem to have been "restored", or should we say, recovered from very old records, since the scratch on them is evident. That's not important if you like to listen to authentic Mexican music from the begginings of the recording era. Her style, passion and humour are depicted in this small, but descriptive compilation of songs. Not to mention the affordable price, it's a very good item and a interesting addition to any collector of traditional mexican music or the casual listener, since many of the songs have been performed by many other artists nad now are part of the musical heritage of Mexico. If you have to own only a CD from Lucha Reyes, this is it."
