CD ReviewsLucho Gatica "Canta A La Intimidad" luis de quesada | jamaica, new york United States | 04/08/2000 (5 out of 5 stars) "Even though Orfeon could have improved the sound of this album by using first generation master tapes, we the fans of "THE GREAT GATICA" are fortunate to be able to buy this CD. These recordings are probably one of the last made by Gatica in Mexico during the early 70's. In this album Gatica sings old classic songs not previously recorded by him. He uses a "trio like" musical backing consisting of guitar(s), bongoes, maracas and bass all which masterfully perform the bolero songs and rhythms, making this album "unique" in its kind. A great performance as usual by Gatica, there should have been more recording sessions like this one. A great classic!"
