---------------- Great up and coming skate punk band. These guys are really nice to talk to, and they have a great positive message in thier music. If you like pennywise, 98 mute or any other socal skate punk this cd is a must have. Its filled with catchy lyrics and bass lines. This band is definitely going places. The term "punk rock" is thrown around a lot these days. Often, bands who do
not fit into the category are called it anyway by studio executives and MTV in
an attempt to market packaged rebellion to the masses. With all this
corporate money grubbing (and brainwashing in MTV's case) in the music business
today, it's a breath of fresh air to see a true punk rock band making it on their
own. An example of one such band is Librium, an energetic quartet from La
Verne, California.

Generally unhappy with all the new so-called punk bands springing up, Librium
wants to do their part in bringing back the days when punk music was good.
Combining the sound of Pennywise and The Offspring with their own unique blend
of music and raw energy, they do more than their fair share. Fronted by
singer/guitarist William Rowbotham, the band has been very successful and achieved
dazzling heights of popularity in only one year of existence. They released
their debut EP, First Aide For Freedumb, last year on Kutthrowt Recods, a label
started and operated by the band themselves. The song "Misunderstood", the
very first track on Freedumb, received airplay on West Coast college radio
stations and got the band noticed by a wide audience. The band's biggest hit is "The Bra Song"
